6-grade power search

In overcast weather, the solar battery's output current is extremely tiny, then inverter will automatic open 6-grade power search function.

1. The program can automatically open power adjustment for 6 times.

2. The current direction can adjust from the maximum to the minimum.

3. In automatic adjustment process, we will see the LOW light flashing. And the power will keep as a starting point, from 0 to the maximum output power, and it will restart at most for 6 times, then locked in the maximum power, the ST lamp long bright.

Installation guidelines

(1), Selecting a Suitable Location

For safe and optimum performance, install the inverter in a location is…

Dry: Do not expose to water drip or spray.

Cool: Operate only in ambient temperatures between 320 F (00C) and 1040F (400C).Keep away from furnace heating vents or other heat producing equipment.

Well ventilated. Allow at least 2 inches (5cm) clearance above and all sides of the unit for proper cooling.

Safe: Do not install inverter in a compartment with batteries or flammable liquids, such as gasoline, or explosive vapors.

Clean and free of dust and dirt: This is especially important if the Jazz inverter is used in a work environment. 

(2), Using the DC Cable –Clips

Due to limitations in the common 12V/24V/48V DC outlet in a vehicle or boat, the inverter should only be used to supply AC power to products that require the rated continuous power or less. If your application requires more than rated continuous power (but less than the rated continuous power) or has a high start-up surge, see using the DC Cable-Clips. 

1), Attach the ring type connector marked with red to the positive (+) DC terminal on the inverter and attach the ring connector marked with black to the negative (-) DC terminal.

CAUTION: A reverse polarity connection (positive to negative) may damage the inverter. Damage caused by a reverse polarity connection is not converted under warranty.

2), Tighten the nut on each DC terminal by hand until it is snug. Do not over tighten.

3), Insert the plug of this cable into the 12V/24V/48V DC outlet and switch the unit ON. See section4 if the inverter does not operate properly after being connected.

4), When the inverter is not in use, unplug it from the 12V/24V/48V DC outlet to prevent slight discharge of the battery.  

(3), Using the DC Cable –Clips

By directly connecting the inverter to a 12V/24V/48V DC battery with DC Cable-Clips, you can operate problem with power requirements up to rated continuous output power. If you want to permanently connect the inverter to a battery, contact the customer service.

1), Follow steps 1 and 2 above (Using the DC Cable –plug) to attach the ring type connector.

2), Attach the black negative clip to negative (-) battery terminal.

3), Attach the red positive clip to the positive (+) battery terminal. Make sure both clips are securely connected to the battery terminal, as a loose connection will cause excessive voltage drop and may cause the cables to overheat resulting in equipment damage or fire.

4), Switch the inverter ON. See section 4 if the inverter does not operate property after being connected.

5), When the inverter is not in use, disconnect the DC Cable –Clips from the battery.

Without adapter on the AC output side cable

This type of micro inverter is designed without adapter on its AC output side cable. This unique design makes it not only for single inverter connection, but also more convenient for customers to connect several micro inverters to achieve parallel circuit, just requiring adapter plug to be connected on.

Connection way

The traditional solar power system usually requires solar controller and battery to be main parts to compose a complete system. However, if our micro inverter is adopted, the solar controller and batter can be left out, then enable to save much cost in customers' side.

This micro inverter will work only connected to state grid (public grid). If the electricity energy generated by solar panels is enough for appliances, the appliances will powered by this energy under the intellectively control of micro inverter. While, if the electricity supplied by solar panels is enough to power the appliances, this micro inverter will automatically draw electricity energy from state grid.
